MMC Global Technology Infrastructure (MGTI) is seeking candidates to join us as an Senior Herlp Desk Technician based in Milan. What can you expect? MMC Global Technology Infrastructure (MGTI) delivers a full range of technology support and services – including computing, help desk support, world-class data centers, local and wide area networks, Internet connectivity, email, and telephony to all business units of the Marsh & McLennan group of companies. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading global insurance broker, in an onsite technical support capacity working on First Line and Second Line queries. Your daily tasks: Perform installations, maintenance, troubleshoot and repair of all OpCo desktop hardware/software technologies;Perform activations and support iPhone devices;Assist with setup and operation of audio visual hardware as required by end user;Determine appropriate hardware/software based on corporate policy and end user requirements;Respond to incidents within SLA, or within a timely manner; with appropriate level of urgency, and follow up with customers on all issues;Escalate incident and question to appropriate support groups;Support events, such as infrastructure changes, software releases and BCP etc;Provide timely updates to Management about service issues, when appropriate;Disconnect, move and reconnect desktop technology hardware for single user, multi-user and office moves;Assist administration and maintenance of non-desktop Technology Infrastructure component’s at the request of other Service Towers;May assist with installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of Office Telephony Systems;Use corporate Incident Management System to record and track all support work;Maintain accurate hardware and software record using, Corporate Asset Management System for all corporate assets;Support team’s abilities and functions through positive customer relations;Contribute to improvement/enhancement of processes and procedures;Gain additional knowledge and stays abreast of current technologies through employee and company sponsored training, periodicals and regular interaction with other team members.What we can offer you: Hybrid contract (3 days from the office and 2 from home)A company with a strong brand and strong results to match;Opportunity to make the difference and be part of the world’s largest insurance broker & Risk Advisor;Attractive benefits coverage, outstanding learning programs, mentoring opportunities and interaction with MMC network.What you need to have: At least 3 to 5 years of experience in IT Technical support roles (2nd and 3rd level);Strong I.T.I.L.
